I have a problem on my system. Yesterday, while I was cleaning some directories on my computer using Windows Explorer, something happened to one of my drives. The drive letter changed from (E:) to something that looks like an O with a "french accent grave" on the top of it, followed by _(E:). I now cannot access any files on the drive. Explorer, Norton, Partition Magic all recognize that half the drive is used but none can access the directory. It shows up as blank.
My E drive was a logical partition on a hard drive. The other part of the hard drive, my C drive, still reads OK. I use Windows 98.
Any ideas what to do or where to go for help?
