Canceled Meeting

With Exchange 5.5 sp4 and Outlook 2000. How can I automaticlly remove a canceled meeting from the "Resources Calendar"?

At the moment I have to go to each resouce and open the canceled meeting and click the "Remove from Calendar".

I have been looking for months for the anwser to this issue.

When you book the resource in a calendar appointment, do you invite the resource as a 'resource', rather than 'required' or 'optional'? I assume you have configured the resource calendar to 'automatically accept meeting requests and process cancelations'.

Yes, I have instructed all exchange users to invite the meeting rooms as a resource.

I have configured all of the rooms to automatically accept meeting requests and process cancellations, but still I need to go to each of the room’s calendar to remove the entire canceled meeting request.
