Preface: I am new to Netware

Question: when students logon to the novell network they then have to logon to Windows (we are using Win2000). Is there a way to remove the second logon and have it automatically logon as a generic user. We currently have all students manually logon as a generic user. I am aware of the local Policy which can disable CTRL+ALT+DEL but am not sure if this will help.
Thanks

create a dlu policy

this will create the user up on the local pc
no need for the evil use of local policies

To explain, do you run a form of ZENworks? If you do, you can create a policy called Dynamic Local User. When someone logs on using their workstation, the system will automatically create a local user account for the user on the workstation and logon automatically to the workstation as well as NetWare. Without DLU (as you know), you get the second login box to log into Windows.

For this to work, you must install the Novell Client onto the Workstation with Workstation Manager included as one of the options.
