I do not think you can, but we have a market that has had horrible qos issuess... at&t finally said they have fixed the issue, but they did this about 30 minutes after the people at the site went home. I was wondering if I can somehow make a phone go off hook and dial out so I could listen to the call... The circuit was so bad the site could not get dial tone. This is a site that the phones connect across the wan to our Core CM..so no gateway. I did call some of the phones and they all ring 4 times then go to voicemail like normal so at least they seem up but I wanted to test before these folks got in if possible. I thought I would ask the experts here in the forum. This is a 9611g phone.

Yes, you can. Setup an autodail and enter the number you want dialed. Then do a List Trace Station XXXX

Yes, you can. Setup an autodial on the station and enter the number you want dialed. Then do a List Trace Station XXXX/XX

XXXX is the extension and /XX is the button number. The 1st call appearance would be 7, so if you setup the autodial on number 4, you need to enter List Trace Station XXXX/10.

so far this has not worked, here is my autodial. I was going to test with my office phone...

I did list trace station 15799/10 (15799 is the station here in my office)
I also tried an outside number and nothing happened, The trace just sits there... no errors, etc.

not sure why it was not working on my office phone maybe something to do with my EC500 on 15733... but I just did this on the phone in question and it worked, it just called my cell... that is pretty damn cool. I am keeping the call active as I type this message and then our Nectar tool should then show me the QOS... so I can now report to the WAN dudes and the market that a call actually worked! so this is no different than if the person in the market picked up the phone and called me?

also curious if I can run asa on 4 computers and do this on the 4 phones there and make 4 calls? the problem we have had is if 2 calls are active, or I should say 2 phones, all is well, third call comes in or out (third phone) and all calls go to hell. turns out there was zero qos on the line...att then said they put it on... nope... we open up another ticket... ok its on... nope... 3rd ticket (escalated to god) they claim it is on now.. the market (a bunch of sales people) want to throw the phones out, kill us IT people, the wan people lol... they sent us a screen shot of their solution (2 starbucks coffee cups and a string. How embarrassing lol
