Can you have two different e-mail addresses into Outlook?

Can you have 2 different e-mail addresses (each one for a different person) and have them directed to the appropriate person?  I need to know had to add two different e-mail addresses to MOutlook.  I have tried over and over again and it seems like I am missing a step or two.  I have done the identities but all the e-mail, regardless of which address, is going only into one identity.  Also, what is a Post Office (not literally, of course)?  What is is that I enter in the Post Office field?  I would be ever so grateful if someone could help me out.

Depends on what version of Outlook you are running.  If your running 97 I have had troubles.  I am currently running 98 with 5 internet email accounts.  And I know 2000 will also. I run that with 2 accounts. Any questions let me know or visit <A HREF="

I have had no problem with having five different e-mail addresses in both Outlook Express and Outlook. I know that I used Outlook Express 5.5 and 6.0 with five different e-mails (for one profile) and maybe even earlier versions. Also, I have used Outlook 98 and 2000 with these five different e-mail addresses with only one user.

In Outlook Express, you need to click on Tools, Accounts, Mail, New, and then e-mail and Add. At that point simply respond to the questions that you are asked.

In Outlook, Click on Tools, Services, Add, Internet e-Mail and fill in the information for the folders.
