I need to stop the Computer Browser from running on all my workstations but to do this you need to disable the service on the PC's. Is there any way to stop this service without going to each pc.

You can do so with Group Policies if your in an Active Directory.

In the Group Policy: Computer Configuration / Windows Settings / Security Settings / System Services

Go to the Computer Browser service and set it to Disabled.

"In space, nobody can hear you click..."
