I have a DLT8000 with two drives. Can I get Arceserve to backup my data using both these rives to speed up the backup time?

Can you backup to more than 1 drive

Hi Clive,
Although I have never played with this option I suspect it is possible. Check under your Device Manager to see where your tape drive / slots are. I suspect under the device manager you should see 2 tape drives, one separate from the other as well as the slots. If so, you should be able to create a new device configuration for the second tape drive and assign slots to it appropriately.
