Hello There,

We are currently taking an old procedural FoxPro app and creating a project for it. I wanted to bring in all of the old .prg's at once but it appears that each one must be selected individually and added to the new project. Is there any way to "globally" add all of the .prg's in the directory into the project in one step?

Thanks,

Dave,
If you're using VFP 6.0, then yes! Open Window's Explorer and select all the .PRGs and then drag-and-drop them on your Project - they be added automatically. Note: If you have a small screen and can't see both Explorer and VFP at the same time, the trick is to select them in Explorer and while holding down the CTRL (or SHIFT), position the mouse pointer over VFP on the Task Bar, and VFP will open. Then move the mouse pointer over the Project before you "Drop". It's not important to be in the "right" place in the Project, as it will put the files where it "knows" they should be.

If you drag-and-drop files from Explorer into the command window, then they'll be opened for edit. i.e. .PRG files will be opened as if you'd typed MODIFY COMMAND <xxx.PRG>, .TXT files - MODIFY FILE <>, .SCX files - MODIFY FORM <>, etc.
