Can Office2000 SR-1 be downloaded in one PC and install in another?

Is this possible? I have a win98SE with Office 2000 in one of my PC. Can I download the SR-1 service release from another PC with internet connection and install it in the PC without Internet?

Simply burn it on CD or, if you have a network between your systems, place it in a shared folder.

By the way... if you have a network you might think of sharing your internet connection over the network....

Hey... how? Isn't it when you double click O2ksr1a (an initially downloaded file), it scans the PC and directly install SR1? How can I download the whole file as is, 'cause I can split it, join, and install.

This version of the SR-1 Update is useful if either of the following is true:
Your office has users who installed from CD, but you only want to download the SR-1 Update one time.
You want to download the SR-1 Update and keep it for future use (for example, if you reformat your computer on a regular basis, or if you uninstall and reinstall Office frequently).
