Hi there,

Network info like this:
site1 got 1 nw6sp3 server with both ip/ipx,
site2 got 1 nw411sp9 server with ipx,
both server under the same tree
root partition master replica at site1 nw6 server
site1 partition master replica at site1 nw6 server
site2 partition master replica at site2 nw411 server

now i got site2 subordinate replica at site1 nw6,
can i change it to r/w replica instead? if so, how to do?

many thanks!

you dont change the subordinate - you add a r/w to the server.
been a while since i've done 4.11 and it's a bit of a mix - not sure if you would use console1 or ndsmanager

go to the partition and add replica and then add to the netware6 server

the only thing i would be really cautios off is make sure ds is at same level (if this is poss)

Zacca, I see you have a couple posts. Did you try to add the replica and then that's when you started having the problems.?

You need to have the latest DS on NetWare 4.11, which is v6.21. With netware 6, I believe you have at least eDirectory 8.6.2. They should work together and I've done it this way, but I don't really recommend it. You should clean up the mess you have now and upgrade your 4.11 server as soon as possible.
