CAN NOT USE THE CROSS TO CLOSE EXCEL 1

Hi there,

I have office 97 on 30 computers but all of them can not use the cross(at the top right) what do i have to change
to make this work ???
Word does't have that problem. They are W95 and W98 PC's

Reinstall does not work?

Question... Are what exact office application are they using? Also are they able to Maximize and Minimize the documents? -Knowing is half the battle-
