Outlook 2002 (XP) was upgraded to Outlook 2003. The PC joined a network domain, andn Exchange account was added to the existing POP3 account in Outlook. The e-mail, address book, and all folders were then imported from the Personal Folders (.PST file) to the Exchange folders (.OST file) after which the personal folders were removed (leaving only the Exchange folder).
After all this, all previous e-mail messages, tasks, calendar entries, and contacts are fully accessible from within the main Outlook screen. However, when 'new message' is selected from the menu bar, and the 'to' button is pushed, the only e-mail addresses available are the internal company personell as registered on the network's Domain Controller. None of the user's contacts or distribution lists are available to be selected.
Can anyone tell me why this would be, and what to do about it?
- James.
My memory is not as good as it should be, and neither is my memory.
I have forgotten more than I can remember
