Hello, I hope someone can help me, we have a cisco router connected with our provider using 2 E1, protocol used is ATM IMA, we have been approved for an upgrade but the chief only accepted to increase in 512Kbps our link, is there any way to tell the cisco router that the third ima link is not E1 but 512Kbps?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

I think I read somewhere in some random Cisco blurb that you cannot mix line speeds like this for IMA bundles.

You can have all links run at 2mb or run at 512k.

I might be wrong on this one though but I vaguely recall reading it somewhere.

Thanks KiscoKid for your reply, I also thing that it's not possible but sales people promise everything without asking operations if it's possible.

Thanks again.
