Yes you can. I do. You do need to be careful not to open a vb5 in vb6 and save it. If you do you need to remove the 'retained = ' line from the vbj file.

I have one programme in vb5. If it was in vb6 it apparently has a dreadful effect on another programme on some of the customers machines. Don't recall what exactly. So for this particular programme, it's vb5 for europe and vb6 for usa. Pain.

Would vb6 dll files cause any conflicts with vb5?
