hi guys and gals, hope you can help. im administrator for a network of approx 60 pc's all on xp pro, have one nt 4 server running exchange and sharing printers and folders. the network seems to be very slow lately, and the internet expecially. I suspect someone downloading something, we have some users with their own laptops and i suspect they may be running kazaa or something like that and eating all the download bandwidth for the internet.

Im after a tool which will allow me to view how much data is going to and from each ip address on the network. this will identify someone receiving a little too much data!

Any ideas would be appreciated

thanks

You might want to see if anyone is listening to streaming audio/video off the internet, as well. That'll eat up some bandwidth.

Chip H.

agree with chiph, all those online radio sites can gobble up bandwidth pretty quick
