Hi all;
I'm a newbie to the entire webserver realm, so I have a basic question for you folks. I just started running win2k server on Time Warner's Road Runner service(cable modem). I would like to house my website on my own server to run streaming video and other apps. I have a domain name registered and currently hosted by the domain registry website, Directnic. I'd like to move away from them and host my own site(s) from now on. But, I can only use DHCP to get an IP--Time Warner wont give me a static IP address. Would it still be possible to run a webserver from my PC even though I have no permanent IP? Thank you!
