I have a windows 2000 Server and is my Domain Controller with active directory, DNS, DHCP intalled. I want to change my domain on the Server. Can I do this without uninstalling active directory by doing a dcpromo. Any help greatly appreciated., Jimmy

Does this work for Windows 2000 domain or just .Net domain? Joseph L. Poandl

that's a .NET thing. With Win2K, the only way to "rename" a domain is by setting up an NT BDC (so, of course you have to still be in Mixed mode), allow replication, demote all your DC's, and then promote the BDC, and upgrade. Fun!
