Can I remove user profiling on XP

I sign in with a company user name at the office to get on the LAN/WAN. If I take my laptop home, I want to be able to access everything just as it is at the office, but I can only sign in as administrator, which gives me a totally different desktop, etc.

How do I do away with that so that what I am seeing at home is the same as what I see at the office?

I see plenty of forum topics covering various profiles, but not covering this question specifically.

Your company may be using roaming profiles which will create your settings after you log in - you can try to make a copy of your
C:\Documents and Settings\<youruseridintheoffice>
folder on a floppy or cd, create a user with the same name on the laptop and copy the saved profile info to it...
Caveat
Never tried it with XP but I have done it in 2000 when changing PCs and wanting to keep my settings..

When you're at home you are logging on locally which is a totally different profile than that in the office. What I do is to logon locally at the office as well and connect to all needed shares manually. I can then access any required shares after supplying an initial username and password and the connections will reappear the next logon.
