Can I password protect a Powerpoint Presentation? 1

Windows XP, Office 2000 standard.

I've created a powerpoint presentation and would like to password protect it. I'm not too proficient and help is getting me no where.

Does anybody have any ideas?

Sorry, you need PowerPoint 2002 or later to password protect the presentations.

You could always Winzip it with a PW until you need it again.

Or insert into a word document as an object and password the word document!

You could create a PDF version of the presentation for distributing to other people.
