Can I manipulate the data that I want only from Hyperterminal

Hello,
I currently have a pc connected to my DEC port on my PBX. I am receiving data but some of the data I dont know what it is and some stuff I dont need. There are stuff such as date and time that I would like it to report it but how would I go about editing it in the cha sys cdr menu to get the output that I want. I am currently gettting data on which extension dialed where and I would like to add date and time so that I know when it was dialed out or dialed in. I am running G3si R4. I am not farmiliar with V4 but I am running r9 and in the cdr settings there is an option for custom reports that adds and aditional page where you can select the output you recive José
