Hi team

I want to be able to look back and see how data in a single table has been changed, added to or deleted. Is there some built in function to do this?

Thanks

FW

The easiest way I know to do this is to set a trigger that fires on INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE operations for that table. Within the trigger, you could identify the changed columns in the table and insert records into a separate log file.

There is no built in solution You must write your own solution as suggested by Tombos or purchase 3rd party software to audit SQL Server. Terry L. Broadbent
