Can I initialize & record info mailboxes on a CP150 remotely? 1

Title says it all: Call Pilot 150 located 1500 miles away. I need to initialize and record 3 information mailboxes remotely. I do not have internet access into the system but I do have a FastRAD on there so I can dial in.

You can create the mail box and change the password but I know of no way that you can verbally say a name for the mail box. You should be able to get the customer to do that. Once it is initialized you can record the information from anywhere.

To build upon senk1s: Call someone at the site and walk them through feature 983 to get to admin. Once there, ask them to press 77. This will open the external initialization menu. If it says no, have them press Change to set it to yes.

This will allow you into the system remotely pressing ** when the auto attendant answers. When it asks for the mailbox and password, enter the admin and the voice prompts will walk you through your options.
