Hi, I'm using CR 8.5 running against an Aspect DataMart for agent reporting.

I want to create a report that looks like this:

Date1 Date2 Date3 Total
AG1 HH:MM:SS HH:MM:SS HH:MM:SS HH:MM:SS
AG2 HH:MM:SS HH:MM:SS HH:MM:SS HH:MM:SS
Total HH:MM:SS HH:MM:SS HH:MM:SS HH:MM:SS

Where AG1 is a person's name and the HH:MM:SS are the hours:minutes:seconds they spent on any given date for a particular activity.

I've created a detail report, groups on the Agent Name, then Date. I have the times in total seconds and also a formula for HH:MM:SS based on the summary.

Why can't I select my formula TimeAsHHMMSS? It doesn't show up in the list of available fields to pop in the cross tab. I see the TimeAsSeconds which allows me to sum them. Can I format that?

Thanks!

A time can't be summed.

You might create a manual cross-tab to do this, but that would depend upon the number (varying?) of date fields being displayed.

You can create Running Totals with the evaluate use a formula->{table.date} = currentdate-1 or some such) against the seconds column, and then reference that Running Total in a HH:MM:SS formula at the end. Then you can display the formula in the details as HH:MM:SS, and it will give the appearance you want.
