More than likely -- yes -- those are "installation files" (Microsoft Installer) -- so if you no longer need the installation "media" then you can delete it.
In the example you posted it appears to be the installation file for Acrobat505 -- which is quite old.
MSI extensions are installer packages for the Microsoft Installer, and most can be deleted without a problem... Though be warned, that if an install gets wonkered, it may not be able to correct itself...
as to the one mentioned, that can be safely deleted...
I suggest, that you use CCleaner to clean out unnecessary stuff, it is safe to use...
