Hello,
I'm just wondering if there's a way to delete a module in Access. I've got a couple of modules that I was playing with while trying to learn a few things and they are now useless, but I don't want to have to create a new database to get rid of them.
I know that the end user will never see them, but they're going to look like I went nuts and just started typing random letters and numbers when I turn this database over to our DBA when he or she gets here (let's hope that day is near!)

You can delete a module the same way you can delete a table, query, form, report or macro.

Just be sure that you are not calling any of the subs or functions within that module, once you delete it, it is gone.

I would also make a backup of the database before you delete them. Just in case.

Thanks for the tip, oddly enough, the database that I'm working on will not allow me to remove the modules at all, no matter what I do. After you sent this response I decided to try it in a different database just to make sure that I wasn't doing something wrong and it works fine on the other. I don't know what the issue is, there is nothing in the modules. I can just copy what I've got to a new file and keep pluggin, I've only got 15 tables done so far. Thanks for taking the time to type, sorry it was a waste of time.

Compact and repair the database and then try again, I have seen that fix a lot of issues.

Thanks for the help, that did the trick.
