Can I capture audio and print using i-link?

I'm a total beginner trying to use a Sony digital camera with a VAIO laptop and Premiere 5.1 using an i-link cable. I'm having trouble capturing sound using the movie capture function. Is it possible to do this without additional hardware or software?

Secondly, although I'm nowhere near that stage yet, I have no idea how I can get the program to print the video to my video camera once I've finished editing.

I would greatly appreciate any help on this issue.
