Can both connection pooling on 1 server and multiplexing on another server be used at the same time?
I am looking into installing Connection Manager on our mid-tier application web server with multiplexing enabled, and enabling shared servers with connection pooling on the database server.
The 9i documentation doesn't explicitly state if Connection Manager with multiplexing can be used at the same time as connection pooling (since they will be on separate servers)or if only 1 should be used.
I thought I remembered in the past seeing 8i documentation stating only one method should be used. Any help available from anyone with experience on this? Thanks...
