Can anyone lend some help/advice?
I have two XP machines (acers) on a hub. They are both running the same specialized application. The database for the application resides on box #1 (called 'main') on a shared drive called 'data'. In the mornings (and only in the mornings) box #2(called 'station2) is getting an error I've never seen. It occurs only when station2 attempts to write data to the database.
! Windows - delayed write failed
Windows was unable to save all the data for the file
\\main\data\filename...
The data has been lost... please try to save the file elswhere.
X Internal System Error:
rread (): Lockfile failed. The specified network name is no longer available.

I assumed at first that this was a physical network problem, but I have replaced the hub and all cat5 cabling with new ones. It appears to happen very briefly - just long enough to kick the user out of the app.
Can anyone see what's going on here?
