Hello all,

I am trying to build a database and thinking to use MS Access. However, before I start, I need to consider that once the DB is complete, can Access compile the whole DB into an EXE file so that I can take the DB and use it in any machines (even on ones that MS Access is not installed)?
Thanks in advance for helps

snoopy80,

The answer is yes BUT!! it can not be done with Access alone. You will need to purchase the MICROSOFT VISUAL STUDIO TOOLS FOR THE OFFICE SYSTEM

One source...

See Microsoft Web site for more info.

I hope this helps..

Good Luck...

Well, sort of...you don't actually create an exe from an access database, you create a runtime version of access that makes it so the person doesn't need an access license.
