can a published app load another application

We have a vendor supplied application that let's us launch another application through a button that we assign properties to (a command line). Can a published app in metaframe launch another executable

Some of our published VB apps call another VB app through settings in an INI file. It looks like a similar setup in your case, therefore there shoul be no problem
