Can a Mailing list be an email account also at the same time?

Is there a way a mailing list can be an email account at the same time? please let me know if we can do it in Exchange 5.5 SP4 using NT4 SP6a.

Not that I know of, a mailing list has an address but sending mail to this address will just mail everyone on the list
