Can a checkbox have a X symbol ?

Goodday everybody,

In my VFP6, I'm using checkbox. But I notice, eveytime I click on it, it either appear blank or a tick symbol. Is the a X symbol ?

No, otherwise it would be called a X-box instead of a check box.

Well, you can make a text box, that is the same size as the checkbox. And in the click event:

this.value = 'X'

And then you test for: iif(this.MyXBox.value = 'X',.t.,.f.)


I mean, this is a generic way, but, you can get more sophisticated by building your "Own" X-Box.. with all the validity! Tekno
