I am in the midst of building a single CS1000 Rel 6.0 system that has 2x standalone CPPM SS (Linux-based), 2x CPPM CS (VxWorks) and 5x MGCs (VxWorks).
Now, I have successfully configured the 2x CPPM CS to have HA (Core 0 and Core 1).
As for the CPPM SS, I have configured the first SS as a Primary Security Server and deployed software applications such as the EM + SS + NRS.
I am wondering whether I can program the 2nd SS as a Backup Security Server to have EM + SS + NRS where I plan to program it as an alternate NRS? Is this possible?
OR
Should I program the 2nd SS as a member of the first SS's security domain and then deploy the above applications and making it an Alternate NRS.
Anyone has any suggestions? It will be much appreciate.
