Can 1600 series take 16mb and 20 mb Flash cards?

In their documentation, the maximum is only 12mb.
Any chance they are able to read 16 and 20 variants?

hi.
yes they can take both;
i have (2) 1600 router, each with a 16mb and 20mb pcmcia flash card.
the only problem is that the 20mb pcmcia flash card is only recognized as a 16mb pcmcia flash card.
the 16mb pcmcia flash card is recognized as a 16mb.
