I have set up up split9as EAS is not available) but calls do not arrive a the Group member extensions. ACD,QUEUE,VECTOR is all set to Y. The vector is set up queue calls to this split so I cant see where this is failing. At the moment calls stay in queue all the time.

In an ACD group, at least one member must be logged in and in an auto-in mode to take calls. If no one is logged in, then just a busy signal. This might be why they are just staying in queue.

Thanks Mikey. We dont have agent logins to configure. How does a split agent log in?
I know how to work with basic hunt groups and skills but splits is all new to me. Cheers

Each agent should use the 'feature access code" to login, and tell it what split u want to login to.

Cionfigured in the split or hunt group form there are two extensions numbers for phones I'd like the calls to go to.
I tried using the 'Login Access Code' followed by the split number & # but nothing happened.

Are u doing the login access code from a phone that is a member of the hunt group?

also the login has to be from the actual extension that is listed in the hunt group. not a bridged appearance of it somewhere. also, connot be a bridged appearance of another number on that phone, has to be a call appearance of the number in the hunt group.

thanks, tim

Try, login access code+split_no+passw

If the split number is 4, try using 04(004)for split number in the login sequence.

Scott99 try this. Look under “disp fea”. This is display feature access codes. Mine are around the fifth page (but it varies with your software load) ACD features. This will give you the login and out codes for your group. You will need the login code, auto-in, and aux-work codes. Normally I would set this up on digital sets so they can just press a button on their phone. On one of the phones that you want to receive these hunt group calls, enter the login code. Then enter the auto-in codes and that phone should be ready to receive calls. On the phones their self’s I normally label the buttons as at work, and at break for auto-in and aux-work. Someone stated earlier that you can not do these from a bridged appearance, But I log ours in from my set with a bridged appearance of one of the buttons on my set.
