calls not being answered by AA

My customer has a call pilot 100. When called after four rings it is auto answered by station 229. It doesn't go to the AA at all.There are no ccr trees programmed. I can't find any forwarding to station from the AA. The last time I was there it was working fine.Customer says no one has done anything to system.

Do you mean
-it starts to ring X229 after the initial 4 rings are complete
or
-It rings those 4 times at X229 then goes to mailbox 229?

What is the Forward No Answer ring count at for 229?
What is the ring count for AA on the lines in question?

It rings four times on CO lines. Doesn't ring at all at station 229. goes directly to it. voicemail dn is 236. Station 229 is forwarded to 236 no answer. rings 3 at station 4 for AA

Will assume you mean goes directly to X229's mailbox

Assuming AA is set to 4 rings and FNA is set to 3 Rings

That is normally a conflict if the lines were Appear & Ring at 229.....did you check programming? does it show as Appear Only?


Change FNA to 4 Rings at 229 and see if that helps (or AA to 3)

I changed station 229 rings and it goes to AA but it plays "your party can't be reached at this time" then it goes to main greeting.

AA plays a greeting # or Menu Prompt or CCR
Sounds like your call is not actually going to AA but rather attempts to go into a mailbox that does not exist.

Try changing AA's ring count to 3 or even 2 to test.
Check all lines and see if Prime set is set to NONE.
Check all sets FNA does not conflict with AA
Check Transfer Callback timer is higher than 4.
