We recently upgraded to a PRI interface which required us to upgrade from an MICS 1.0 to a MICS 5.0. A couple of days later our NVM 1.0 crashed and we replaced it with a NVM 4.0. Everything on both the MICS and the NVM had to be reprogrammed from scratch and I must be missing something because calls aren't going to voicemail properly. I've tried the following situations and listed the results.
-"Call forward on no answer" points none:
--When the receptionist answers a call and transfers to an extension, VM never picks up and the call goes back to the receptionist.
--When the AA answers a call, the caller can enter an extension and will get a VM inbox.
--Internal calls ring indefinitely
-"Call forward on no answer" points to NVM:
--When the receptionist answers a call and transfers it to an extension the caller gets the AA, instead of a VM inbox. If the caller enters an extension from here, they'll end up back at the AA.
--When AA answers a call, the caller can enter an extension but will end up back at the AA.
--Internal calls will get a VM inbox.
