Hi,

We are running Callpilot 5 and have a mailbox set to not allow messages
to be recorded

Block Incoming Messages: Never
Block Message Call Handling: Disconnect caller after greeting

The users greeting is played but after the greeting callpilot also
plays "The owner of this mailbox is not accepting messages at this time
"

Then the call is dropped

Is there anyway to stop callpilot from playing "The owner of this mailbox is
not accepting messages at this time "

I don't think you can change the system responses, but with application builder I believe you could create an application for the same DN (SDN) that would be an announcement only. If you want to return to normal, just delete the application. (If I'm remembering correctly)

Sorry, above is wrong, Block Incoming Messages is set to 'Always' and Block Message Call Handling is set to 'Disconnect caller after greeting'

Thanks for the response. I was thinking about application builder too, but i need to be able to call in and easily change the announcement on the fly. Is there anyway to do that with an Application?

so will the message be the same for each user? How many users?

To change remotely, just set up the Voice Item Maintenance number, set a password on the application and you can change when you need to.

yes, you can set the application to allow updates via the prompt maintenance DN - you have to set the application ID and the prompt ID along with a password. You will have to reach the prompt maintenance DN via a thru-dial or setup a DID to reach it from outside your switch. If you always going to change it on-site, then no need to worry about reaching prompt maint from offsite. You can find your prompt maint DN via the callpilot SDN list - you should see one for prompt maint.

there is also (in the newer releases - I can't remember when they put it in....) a application whereas you record multiple announcements and can then switch between them on the fly? I can't swear to this because I've never researched it, but I understand it's there somewhere...
