Hi,

I have to add 70 CDN's into Callpilot, so I made the configuration wizard, add all 70 CDN , but when the CallPilot make the new configuration I have the following error:

"Error: Running objSwitchConfig.SwitchInfo_M1..."

What means this error and who can I resolve this issue?

Thanks

check the config, might just be a single cdn that didn't get added

you only need 2 maybe 3 CDN at the most for callpilot. 1 for voice messaging, 1 for multimedia messaging...anything else should be acddn or phantoms.

The cdn in cp needs to be acquire before they'll work correctly or they'll just default to the dfdn...and if you're not going to acquire the cdn and have it default...why make it a cdn to begin with...

i was curious about the need for that many cdns, but assumed he was working on a project i haven't played with.

I need so many CDNs because the customer want a voicemailbox for each employee with custom prompt and 2 option :"1" for mailbox, "2" for redirect to reception.

Do you have another ideea how to implement 70 different voicemailbox?

Thanks

normal would be to either use the persons dn, then build a sdn for each one, you can have the menu behind the set, when fna/hta to mail the caller gets a menu, press one for x 2 for y 3 to leave a msg (express to mailbox) or 0 for the operator... no need for a unique dn for the menu service. for a menu service we normally use maxp 1 acd,

ld 23
new
0
acd
xxxx
maxp 1
ncfw (voice mail dn)

that sends a non used number to the cp, then in mail you just need the vsdn

If this is all you require "custom prompt and 2 option :"1" for mailbox, "2" for redirect to reception."

The normal mailbox is already setup for that...just set your temp greeting and have it never expire and record your custom prompt, press 0 for the operator or what ever destination (set your revert dn to that destination) or wait for the beep and leave your msg.

now if pressing 1 is suppose to send you to some other mailbox than do as Johnpoole suggest...SDN entry with phantoms TN or ACDDN and appbuilder menu.

I try to make acd but the option are not working. Only to leave a mesage.

I try to add the CDNs but the I have the same error.

Could you tell me the steps to make this with acd, please?

I agree with the previous response In a mailbox you should be able to tell the caller to press any digit or hold to leave a message or press "zero" to speak with the receptionist. The revert DN for the mailbox should be the operator's extension, which most probably is "0".
Unless you need more, sounds like you may be creating a complicated solution for something every mailbox can already do.
