Ok I haveing some issues trying to connect to this card. It is in a option 11 switch and connected to the 6 port hub. I cant remember what the default IP address is? Anybody?

You need to plug a monitor, mouse and keyboard into the 201i. It has windows 2003 OS, there is no default ip address, that is configured during installation.

Yea I know that way but I know I have been in through the CLan also

You can get to callpilot manager which is a web based GUI, but the ip address is something configured when it is installed and there is not a default ip address specifically assigned. If you go in directly on the server you can find the ip address that is configured.

OK so I got a keyboard, mouse and monitor, but next thing is what is the Administrator pswd

Is this a new installation or are you trying to access a system that is already working.

If it is already working, then there are passwords and logins already set in the system and there are no defaults left.

Please clarify what you are doing.

John

If you are trying to get the CLAN IP and your IT team has a DNS entry then you should be able to open a cmd line and use nslookup "computer name" if you know the computer name.

This is a current working system...and I am trying to login in either through the clan or directly to the card.

This is not a networked system so cant do the nslookup

If you don't have the server password, or the computer name, or the ip address, then you will have to either find someone who does or call a vendor.

login into the PBX, go to ld 48 and stat the elan.

This will give you the cp elan ip address. plug your pc into the elan hub and open your web browser and navigate to the cpmgr using the elan ip.

Can you use the elan IP address to open Call Pilot Manager? I thought you had to always use the CLan

You should not use the e-lan address all the time, but it will not hurt to use it occasionally.

Occasionally.... So I will be able to use it to get in once and change the pswds to be able to get in remotely etc...

If it works that will be awesome as Nortel told me there is no way to get in if you dont know the IP Address or if you dont know the windows 2003 server login
