My customer has a M.I.C.S. 7.1 with a CallPilot 150 3.0 voicemail system. They are a very busy doctor's office with 8 rollover pots lines. All 8 lines stay busy with incoming calls throughout most of the day. Currently there are 4 operators answering the incoming calls. The customers wants to switch to CallPilot answering all 8 lines.

Question 1: Is it practical to go full auto attendant in this scenario?

Question 2: When a caller is answered by the auto attendant, makes their selection and is transferred to an extension, does the CallPilot channel that answered them become free to answer another call?

1. Yes! - make sure to record several options and utilize the CCR
-To book an appointment press 1
-For mailing address and fax # press 2.
-For business hours press 3
-For email and website info press 3.
etc

The idea is you want to give info via CCR rather than tie up a human for those little questions.

2. Callpilot 150 has 8 Channels which means 8 users in voicemail/AA/CCR at same time, plenty for that site.
