I have recently installed call pilot on a norstar MICS with 7.0 software. I have set up a CCR tree and on my option 1 I am doing a external transfer. When you call the system and hit option 1 the system acts like that it is going to dial out and then it comes back with the message
"The route resources needed for this call is not valid" I have set several of these up and they all work but they are on 4.1 software on the MICS. I have it doing an external xfer using a pool (which is a pool of 1fb's) and it will never go through. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whats your outbound channls set at no more then half , Thats in the system set up, Which you stated that you have done this de for, There may be a patch have you look a NTs
site.

I'm not sure but I don't think that 2.0 CP is fully compatible with the 7.0 software. I think the Call Pilot has to be 3.0. The only other thing that I can think of is that the lines might not be supervised.

hawks/powerflower are right. Go to NT site and down load 3.0
upgrade to 3.0 works gteat

Thanks guys for all your help. It ended up being line supervision.

bigddog,
Can you go into some more detail on the problems with line supervision?
Thanks

The 1fb pool that I was trying to make an outbound transfer on a ccr tree all the lines were set for unsupervised. When I changed them to supervised it
started working.

Thanks bigddog.
Sharing information is what makes this place great.

So it was supervision well that's one good thing. But if it is 2.0 you need to keep a close eye on it because like was stated earlier it's not suppose to be fully compatible with 7.0.
