We just got Callmaster V phones at our site on the other side of the country and I am trying to troubleshoot from my desk. I've never seen a callmaster V. I set the phone type as 607A1. According to my on site contact, if a call comes in they grab the line appearance, the speaker and mute buttons light, they can hear the caller but the caller can't hear them.

I've searched here but haven't found anything

Thanks

Set the phones up as a 6416D+, they are the exact same phone, but they don't have a handset.

Are the users on the CM5s using headsets?

If so, you'll need to set up a Headset button. The Agents then need to press this so that the button-light is on.

The CM5s will not assume that the headset is to be used just coz there's one plugged in.

Paul.

And 607A1 is the proper set type for the CM5.
