What is the correct syntax in PL/SQL to have a stored procedure execute another existing stored procedure (the procedure does not return rows, it just performs updates)?

It's quite natural: just place a procedure name, followed by parameters enclosed in parenthesis, ended by semicolon.

as an aside, one can even write recursive procedures that call themselves, PL/SQL works fine for that I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
