Caller ID with ring group?

Since there is no longer a receptionist, the ringing service is just always left on. Calls to the main number are set to ring on a handful of phones configured in a ring group. We just switched from a standard T1 to a PRI so we now have caller ID. The main number is a DID extension (3590) configured on target line 157. When a call comes in to the main number, the LCD on the other phones in the ring group show Line 157 Calling (or something to that effect, I don't recall exactly) as opposed to the called ID info. You can press F811 on the phone while it's ringing to show caller ID, but I'm wondering if it's possible to have called ID show on all of the phones in the ring group automatically without having to use F811.

I also tested another approach. I turned off ringing service and then assigned line 157 to one of the extensions that needs to ring when the main number is called, in this test it was ext 3600. Ext 3600 is a DID extension so it already had a larget line assigned (line 167). So now ext 3600 had two lines assigned, 157 & 167. When I test dialed the main number it did not ring at ext 3600, it only rang at 3590. Should this config ring at both extensions? Did I do something wrong here?

Ultimately, I want multiple phones to ring when the main number is dialed AND caller ID to display on each ringing phone automatically. Any insight into how to do this, or if it's possible is appreciated.

Software is 6.1MR

Just bumping this up in case it got overlooked over the weekend.

If I were you I'd create a hunt group for the line that needs to ring multiple phones and add the exts, and target as members. This will give you caller id on all sets.

Also, instead of using night service, just forward the main extension to the new hunt group as mentioned above.
