Caller ID w/ Legend

I have a customer with Merlin Legend R7. They are using caller ID and would like to know if there is any way to view caller ID information if they are on the phone and a second call comes in. I know that you can do this on the Partner system with Caller ID Inspect.

Unfortunately, no. You probably know about adding a Number/Name toggle button so you can see both halves of Caller ID.

You'd have to install a second MLX display set on the user's desk to watch caller ID coming in on a second line.

No, actually on MLX sets, you can press 'inspect' and then the ringing line appearance. You then have to press 'home' to get out of 'inspect' mode.

One other wrinkle.. if you have a phone configured for headset operation, the callerID doesn't show up until after the call is answered, but you can use the 'inspect' method above to get CID before answer. I don't have experience with other sets, tho.
