I know this has been discussed before, but I did a search but couldn't find what I was looking for.

When someone makes an outbound from my switch, how do I change the number that is displayed on the person who is called (off switch) caller id ?

I don't what my caller's individual extension shown on caller id, but the company's main number instead.

I'm on a G3R v9.5

TIA

With us, it was a call to the phone company (AT&T). We are using T-1s that do not have the side channel that allows us to pass info out so we cannot send extension information. Our situation is all outbound calls register as a single extension (our main number). AT&T controls what name and number appear.

Hope this helps

change isdn-public-unknown-numbering and assign CLI per extension or per range.
Questions? Shoot!
Good luck. Kind Regards,

There are loads of ways to do this but by far the easiest and quickest is to call your carrier and get them to send the desired CLI from their end

mcopini,

Is there a way to do this using CO Trunks?

Thanks.

If you are just wanting to do this for a few extensions, you can change the " Per Station CPN - Send Calling Number?" field, on page two of the station form, to R for restrict.

That will show no caller info.
