Caller ID problem? 1

Got a Norstar Plus Modular ICS and some of the phones are showing the caller ID and some do not show caller ID. The ones that do not show CID, shows the CID once you pick up the handset, (kinda defeats the purpose). I talked to the phone tech and he said all the programming are the same and he does not understand why it works on some phones and not on others. All the phones are the same.
Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

MICS must be 6.x software or higher to see CLID on more than one ringing set.

Mics 6.1 and higher.

I never understood while in business the need to see the caller ID before answering, you are in business every phone call should be treated as income to your business.

As I mentioned in the post, we have caller ID in most phone except for some phones. The phone tech can't see to find the problem and he double check the programming to make sure they are the same as the phone that is displaying caller ID. On the phones that do not "work" the caller id shows up after you pick up the handset. I would estimate that 80% of our phones shows caller ID before we pick up the handset.

The phone has to be a ringing set for that line, then will allow you to set caller ID for that line in programming.
