Trying to figure out (once installers were gone) how to change what numbers will be displayed when my users call to outsitde. If i call from my desk to my cell phone, my real number will show up. On the other hand, some users will show up as the same number (which does not exist in the system at all). How do I manipulate this on 412 and 403 with VMPRO 2.16. 412 gets PRI and DID with 200 numbers. 403 is connected to 412 via private line over VOIP and they use part of our block of nubmers.

thanks in advance, George

In the user shortcodes for the users in question, duplicate the PSTN dial shortcodes but add s<number>. For example, in North America, add the following user shortcode:

SC: [9]N;
TN: Ns<insert did number here including area code>
LG: your PRI line
F: Dial

Same for the ip-trunk shortcode

You may find that the difference between the numbers shown for some users relates to those users who are called via DID.

Any user who has a DID that is routed via an IP Office incoming call route direct to their extension, will have that DID used as their outgoing CLI when they make calls.

These users are connected to 403 that is connected to 412 via VOIP so they do have DID numbers but when they call it shows up as one number for all of them.

For the 403, in the shortcodes tab for the VoIP line to the 412, try adding the following line shortcode:

SC: ?
TN: .SS
F: Dial

See if that helps.

Is the 403 actualy breaking out via the 412 or does it have its own lines?

if it has it is making calls from its own lines you will only be able to present a cli that is valid for this circuit.

otherwise try peters suggestion.
it may also be worth adding the "SS" to any system codes that dial out from the 403.
