This seems to be the reverse of all the other questions everbody else is asking, but it starts the same way as everybody elses post...
I got 2 new ISDN pri circuits and now.. I get name.
My call center uses number far more than name and I was wondering how to switch so the phones show number and not inbound cid name..
My cdr still outputs the inbound cid number so i know the switch is getting it, how do i display it to my end users.
If anyone has gotten name to work and remembers what they changed in their switch to get it to work, that would be helpfull

my tunk group looks like this

You don't have a calling number format on page 1. try "pub-unk"

Also our trunk groups are set to:
TRUNK PARAMETERS
Codeset to Send Display: 7 Codeset to Send National IEs: 7

"6" for both those entries. My Ts are in use so it wont let me change them to see if that makes the difference.

Still having the issue,
thanks for the replies,
rtmckee my t1's were set to "6" yesterday and I changed them to "7" to try to fix it but still getting name.
Thanks again

Djarum,

unfortunately you don't have any control over incoming name/number. my suggestion is to contact your service provider and make him send you only number without the name.
